Sorry to keep you waiting on this episode!
In this one, I go to the Toronto Maple Leafs/New York Islanders hockey game (Wednesday December 9). I take you along for the ride on the TTC; you join us in the stands for the game; then I talk a bit about what I’ve been watching on TV and some podcasts that I’ve been listening to. There isn’t a lot of deep thought in this one. It is basically an audio version of a photo walk; perfect for listening to with the headphones on while grocery shopping, doing chores or whatever you like. There’s a bit of music in there too. 60 minutes.
- Take the A Train – Lionel Hampton – Mostly Blues (in b.g.)
- Just One Beer – Rodney Carrington – Nut Sack
- Brother to Brother – Brian Keane & Omar Faruk Tekbilek – Beyond the Sky
- Passing By – Ulrich Schnauss – Far Away Trains Passing By (b.g. and end)

Listened to this one while watching the Leafs on TV (on mute) vs Buffalo. It was 1-0 TOR when I started and 4-1 BUF when the podcast finished, Who’s the jinx – me or you? Anyway it was neat watching one game and listening to another!
This was a more relaxed podcast as you advertised. Perfect for an easy night. Look forward to #6.
PS Hope spouse is on the mend!
Still listening now. Remind me to sue that Rodney Carrington mickeyfickey for stealing the words to that song from me.
I quite enjoyed this episode too, but I was at the game so I’m biased.
Errata: JASON Blake, not Rob, plays for the Leafs and popped that crappy bounce behind Roloson for the game-winning goal. And Kabby isn’t the all-time games leader for the Leafs – he’s the current Leaf who’s been there longest and he’s second among defencemen in points behind Salming.
^^^^^^ Thus proving that I AM qualified for a between the period interview job with CBC!
Eh, farry kraser here, it was good to see you guys after the 2nd that day. Was really glad we got to see them pull off a big win
